Agustin Jimenez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 15 years. He first started out as a Behavior Technician providing Behavioral Services to children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities in schools, homes, and the community.
He obtained his Master’s of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2013 from California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA). While at Cal State LA, Agustin conducted and published research in the areas of assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, in addition to pediatric feeding issues, treatments for rapid eating and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) and staff training.
Mr. Jimenez has continued at Cal State LA as an adjunct faculty member where he teaches a variety of courses in the ABA and related areas including: Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis, Individual Counseling Strategies, Behavior Analytic Consultation, etc.
Mr. Jimenez primarily works as a BCBA Consultant for local agencies. Currently, his work focuses on providing behavioral consultation to agencies to help them better serve their clients, primarily to reduce problem behavior and increase functional skills.
In addition, Mr. Jimenez has pioneered and dedicating his efforts to clients and families to improve their ability to tolerate dental routines, as well as accumulating evidence for Dental Desensitization for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
